Samsung To Announce Something Revolutionary

Will you be watching Super Bowl this Sunday? If so you might see something really revolutionary by Samsung. Keep your hopes for Samsung Galaxy S3. According to a tweet from the official Samsung account, they will be launching “a device so revolutionary only an ad in America’s biggest game can do it justice.” Though there is no clue about what Samsung is talking about but judging by the language used, it could very well be something big enough. As the Samsung-Apple war continues, Samsung released another ad about “I just got Samsunged.” In the ad the Samsung focused on the guys waiting in the line to buy iPhone. Samsung Galaxy S2 Ice Cream Sandwich [Port]- ALPHA Download

The latest version of Android 4.0 or the Ice Cream Sandwich is now available for download (via XDA).

The ROM is still in its alpha stages and is improving at an amazing pace. Nexus Prime Delayed Due To Jobs’s Passing

In an update to a previous post, the launch of Samsung’s Nexus Prime smartphone has been delayed due to the passing of Apple founder, Steve Jobs. According to a New York Times article, a Samsung spokesperson said,

Nexus Prime Teased By Samsung

On October 5th, Samsung released a teaser video claiming that “Something BIG is coming” showing an image of a curved smartphone with a 3-pin connector and camera protruding out the back. The theme of the video is that some things go better together. At the end of the video, the Google and Samsung logos are shown side by side. Nokia Morph: The First Nanotech Phone Ever

Nokia has been on the market for years, however in the last decade the demand for Nokia phones has decreased. Why might this be? New companies have risen in todays mobile market, and Apple and Samsung have done a great job of keeping their products appealing and up to date. AT&T Announces Fall Windows Phone Lineup

Today AT&T announced three new Windows Phone devices coming to the carrier this fall. All three phones will be packing the latest update to Windows Phone, known as Mango or Windows Phone 7.5, both names are thrown around interchangeably. All three phones will be 4G handsets and they are as follows: HTC Titan, Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash. Details after the break.

The HTC Titan was unveiled just recently and we covered the specs here.

AT&T currently sells the Samsun Focus, so we can assume the Focus S is an updated version of the handset. It will have a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4Ghz CPU and an 8 megapixel rear camera, with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. –> Read more

Sprint Launches The Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch On Sept.16th

Over the last couple of weeks, it seems like all the talk has been over the Galaxy S II handsets and when they would make the big break for the U.S..

Today, we finally received official word that the the Galaxy S2 will be making its big break for U.S. carriers in the next couple of weeks. Sprint will be the first of the U.S. carriers to launch their version of the Galaxy S II, the Epic 4G Touch. I know this doesn’t contribute solid information for every carrier but at least you can save your upgrade when it launched for Sprint.

Hopefully we will soon find out when it will launch with the other U.S. carriers. We promise to keep you posted with more details as they pour in.

All week I have been reading about the hype surrounding the supposed Nexus Prime super phone by Samsung. This device will be the first to run the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. While the U.S. is still awaiting the arrival of Samsung’s Galaxy S II, the rest of the world is ready to see an upgrade. This week, Samsung is set to “unveil the Galaxy S II LTE at IFA in Berlin this week, alongside an LTE version of its still elusive Galaxy Tab 8.9.” The new upgraded LTE version of the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab 8.9 will be upgrading to an all new  1.5GHz dual-core processor.
