Sprint announced that it’s newest Blackberry lineup- the BlackBerry Bold 9930 And Torch 9850- will be launching on August 21st.
The Blackberry Bold 9930 will release for $249.99 with a 2 year contract and the Blackberry Torch 9850 will be $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2 year contract.
The Blackberry Bold 9930 features the new Blackberry 7 operating system, a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, and the infamous Blackberry keyboard. The phone is Blackberry’s thinnest smartphone ever, measuring in at only 10.5 mm.
The Blackberry Torch 9850 will feature a full blown touchscreen. This is Blackberry’s third attempt after the first two Blackberry Storms. Don’t make this one a flop too Blackberry.
Many consumers have been curious to see how the pricing of the Blackberry Bold will effect its sales. The phone costs $49 more than Apples iPhone 4. I guess we will all have to wait and see.
