Blackberry Bold 9900 Review

The good:

The keyboard on the new Bold 9900 is by far the best keyboard I have ever typed on. I’ve had or used every Blackberry since way backwith the 8700r, yes the one with the trackwheel. If you are an avid messenger on the go, this keyboard is what you need. The next best thing on this device is the addition of the touchscreen. It is not a traditional touchscreen to what a consumer may think of today, but being able to tap open applications, and scroll down through websites, while having the keyboard to jump right into is an amazing blend. Pinch to zoom may not be the easiest task to undertake, but is still possible, however, I would recommend just using “I” and “O” keys to go in and out respectively. –> Read more

New Blackberry’s Coming Soon As AT&T Shows Signs Of Low Inventory

Several AT&T stores are either showing low inventory of the Blackberry Curve or sold out. The Blackberry website already says that the Blackberry Bold will be coming soon. You might ask what does the Blackberry Curves inventory have to do with the Bolds? Well Blackberry has been suspect to releasing their new devices with the all new Blackberry 7 OS this summer. This leads us to believe that RIM may have postponed its distributors inventory as it prepares to begin shipping out the new Blackberry Curve and Bold. Don’t be surprised if this release sneaks up on us.

Best Buy Introduces “Music Cloud”

So 2011 has definitely been a great year for many companies and many big timers have introduced either a new or completely revamped “cloud.” Amazon’s got one, Google’s got one, and Apple’s had one and getting a newer one. Who else could possibly be on the market to compete with these three companies? Best Buy! Best Buy isn’t introducing their “Music Cloud” thinking that their going to own 100% of the cloud music market share but they’re sure as hell gonna try.  The main purpose of the cloud storage system is to keep all of your devices synced up.

According to Daily Tech, “Best Buy’s Music Cloud is similar to others in that it allows users to stream their music to several devices like phones, computers, and tablets. It is powered by Catch Media’s PlayAnywhere technology, and will be compatible with iOS devices, Android-based devices and Blackberry phones.”

Best Buy will have a free version of “Music Cloud” that limits you to listening on through the Best Buy Web player. For a measly $4 monthly charge, you get access to the companies premium package and can take your music with you everywhere you go.

Best Buys Music Cloud hasn’t officially launched yet, but after signing up, you can experiment with some 30 second clips on your Mac or PC.
