iPhone 4S Resembles Its Predecessor In Design, But Receives A Major Internal Makeover

Today, Apple officially announced their iPhone 4S along with iOS 5, at the “Let’s talk iPhone” event. The Apple iPhone 4S comes packed up with the same dual core processor that is in the iPad 2. The Apple A5 processor brings a huge boost in graphics and performance in the all new iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S will also now support LTE speeds.

The iPhone 5 has received a huge camera upgrade. If you thought the camera was already great on the iPhone 4 already, your in for a huge surprise. The iPhone 4S comes stock with an 8MP camera with CMOS back-light. This allows for up to 70% more light which in all will improve the pictures that you will shoot. The iPhone 4S will shoot and record full HD pictures and video.

One of the most crucial upgrades has to be the new 8 hour battery life while on the 3G network.

iPhone 4S will go on pre-order starting October 7th, and the launch date will be on October 14th. Listed below is the cost for whichever size you decide is most adequate for you:

  • 32GB – $299
  • 64GB – $399

You will be able to purchase the 8GB version of the current iPhone 4 for $99 and the iPhone 3GS will be yours for free. That pricing will take place if you purchase the device with a 2 year contract.

Talking about the next big release, iOS 5 will be going public on October 12th. iOS 5 has more than 100 new user features. The highlights include:

  • Location sharing
  • Twitter integration
  • iCards
