The iPhone Dev Team has released a CLI tool update that adds support to Windows users. This tool will help you jailbreak your iPhone or iPad using the command prompt. Before you start, make sure you have updated your device and backup your content through iTunes. Make sure you unlock the device by typing in your personal passcode.
Necessary Steps
Step 1: Download CLI Absinthe for Windows and Mac OS X from here
Step 2: Unzip the folder named cinject_0.4.3 into the system folder, i.e. C:\
Step 3: Now go to the start menu, click on run and type in cmd.exe .
Step 4: In the command window, type: CD C:\cinject_ 0. 4. 3 as shown to get into the folder.
Step 5: You’ll now need to execute CLI. Do this by typing: cinject.exe -i payloads\jailbreak. mobileconfig
After this, you will see a Profile prompt on your iPhone 4S or iPad, be sure to tap Install and then Next on the prompt on your iPhone 4S or
iPad 2 to accept the profile.
Step 6: Now execute cinject. exe -j payloads and wait for the backup.
Step 7: Now on your iPhone 4S , go to Settings >Network > VPN, and toggle the VPN setting to ON.
Step 8: Get in your device and tap on Absinthe icon. This will start your Jailbreak and you will be done in few minutes.
After the Jailbreak is done Unlock your device and you will see cydia on your device.
